Neighborhood Resilience Corps is a Denver-based nonprofit dedicated to training our future climate workforce to adapt our neighborhoods to be more resilient in the face of a hotter & drier future. We work with youth, schools, industry, higher education institutions, and local government to make this possible.
OUR MISSIONThrough a rigorous climate adaptation career pathways program for young people, we help adapt urban areas with green infrastructure to thrive amidst a hotter, drier future.OUR VISIONWe envision an urban Colorado where two things bloom & grow:- The climate workforce of the future.- The green infrastructure needed to make our neighborhoods more resilient & adaptable to climate change.
WHAT WE DONeighborhood Resilience Corps currently operates career-exposure programming for Denver youth to better understand climate change careers.In Summer 2025, we will host our first Summer Climate Adaptation Academy in NE Denver, where students will gain hands on experience adapting community property to thrive amidst a hotter and drier future.In Fall 2025, we will begin to launch a registered apprenticeship in climate adaptation, with connections to climate careers and credential programs.
Team, Partners, SupportersBrad Revare is the founder and executive director of Neighborhood Resilience Corps. Brad previously served on the leadership team of CareerWise Colorado, the state's youth apprenticeship system, and did previous stints at Colorado Succeeds, the Government Entrepreneurial Leadership Accelerator, and has a JD and BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
